Danhua Jiang is a Principal Investigator at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his PhD from the National University of Singapore and performed his postdoc training at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory and Gregor Mendel Institute. He has joined IGDB since 2018. The research at the Jiang laboratory focuses on elucidating the chromatin regulatory mechanisms and their impact on plant environmental responses. One of their special interests is the function of histone variants in plant chromatin regulation. They are also interested in developing Setaria italica as a new crop C4 model species for the investigation of photosynthesis, crop development and stress responses.
